From our executive team to our developers and sales teams, everyone at Switch My Business takes the security of our platform and the protection of our customers’ and employees’ personal data very seriously. GDPR is a part of our business risk management, meaning we think about our customers’ data privacy and security as part of the processes we use to manage risks and achieve our objectives as a company.

As part of this compliance, Switch My Business only processes data as per our Privacy Policy. All the data we process is protected within our infrastructure - meaning the data we process never leaves a secure environment.

Additionally, all access to customer data is protected by roles and permissions within the Switch My Business system. Switch My Business employees can only access data on a need-to-know basis in order to provide the service(s) as requested by our customers’.

When we process and access data, it’s always with consent - whether it’s in accordance with our Privacy Policy or with explicit customer consent. That ensures we fulfil our obligation to our customers to protect their data at all times.

We require all employees to read and agree to our data protection policy before they are able to access any customer data, we also ensure Switch My Business employees are given the minimum access to data required to carry out their role.

Technical commitment

These controls play a big part in our GDPR compliance by ensuring the storage of customer and employee data in Switch My Business is at least in line with GDPR standards.
